If you were to run a search for web entries related to the Parker Pen Company, you would come across a multitude of eBay listings for the pens company’s products.
These range from the entry-level but ever popular Jotter range through to Duofold. From acrylic to Sterling Silver, gold plated to matt trims.
One of the entries likely to be found on the first page of Google is that of parkerpens.net . this website is an incredible source of information for any enthusiast or collector. It documents from the author’s own experience and knowledge the history of the individual pen and pencil ranges across the colourful history of Parker.
Parker was founded in 1888 by George Safford Parker in the USA. Their major competitors have included everyone from the common pencil manufacturers out of China through to Waterman and Mont Blanc at the upper end of the timeless Fountain Pen sections of their collections.
parker pens.net does a wonderful job of detailing the good, the bad, the anecdotal .. Ironically though, for a website on English heritage pens they have managed to succumb to that carelessness disease. Poor spelling.
