This message is aimed at new language learners. In the English world, it’s a good idea to speak proper so you can play on a level field with native English speaking competitors. Learn English and Enjoy Greater Business Success.

You’ve probably noticed by yourself that poor grammar does not help any individual or business come across in their best light. In fact, if you’re hoping to do international business with English speaking countries, then not using the correct spoken English or English grammar will put you at the bottom of the list when it comes to challenging your industry competition.

Many businesses use content marketing as an online promotional strategy. Those articles that are not free of grammatical errors, typos or spelling errors will not fare well in the competitive online marketplace. Even badly composed Amazon listings do not get the results that they could do if they had been put together with correct English grammar.

Recent research shows that articles with spelling errors achieve 50% online sales success. Most marketers who are not learned in the arena of spoken English and English grammar underestimate the power of getting spellings and grammar correct.

Writing marketing content isn’t just about getting backlinks that go back to your website, it also needs to resonate with your target market. Unfortunately, articles that contain errors get pushed aside by readers and are irrelevant with no credibility.

When web visitors happen across a piece of content, he or she will skim through the material. If any spelling error is spotted, it will be an instant turn off from reading further. Part of the purpose of content marketing is to establish your authority as an expert in your industry. Spelling errors can put a very bad light on you and your operation and lower your reputation.

Poor English affects your credibility

The most fundamental criteria of any article should be that it is free of spelling errors. If your content has a lot of spelling errors, then of course, there will be doubts about the credibility of your organisation. If you cannot even get the basics rights, then it would be unfair to expect your prospects to trust you.

Spelling errors decrease website traffic

With so many new small businesses starting up, online competition is getting stiffer by the day. Content marketing is a very effective tool to increase it, but only if it’s done correctly. Good spelling and correct English grammar fit in with ‘correctly’.

If you’re looking to sell more online products or services to consumers, then you may want to take an English course. You’ll learn how to use spoken English to best effect.
